Who we are.

The Roller Derby Coalition of Leagues (RDCL) was founded in the fall of 2011 by 5 banked track roller derby leagues that saw a need for support in the modern banked track roller derby community. Arizona Derby Dames, Los Angeles Derby Dolls, OC Roller Girls, San Diego Derby Dolls, and Tilted Thunder Railbirds came together to help promote and grow the sport of women’s banked track roller derby..

AZDD is a banked track roller derby league based in Phoenix, Arizona. Established in 2005. "Our mission is to provide accessible opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds to participate in and enjoy the thrill of roller derby while promoting values of inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment. Through our programs, events, and outreach efforts, we aim to positively impact our community by promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and self-confidence. With the support of our donors, volunteers, and supporters, we are committed to advancing our mission and enriching the lives of those we serve."

Wildfires

Founded in 2005 by Bonnie D. Stroir, the formerly known San Diego Derby Dolls, now the Derby United Wildfires is a premier roller derby league nestled right in the heart of San Diego. In 2006 we started racing banked track, whilst continuing flat track, making us one of the very first hybrid roller derby teams in the country. Almost all Wildfire skaters are bitraxual—skating a full banked and flat track season simultaneously. We're the 2009 and 2010 Battle on the Bank champions and are looking forward to adding more of those wins to our record.

The Derby Dolls are Southern California's premier banked track roller derby league. Founded in October 2003 by Rebecca Ninburg (a.k.a.Demolicious) and Wendy Templeton (a.k.a. Thora Zeen), the Derby Dolls are a league of more than 150 skaters and volunteers, divided into five teams, who skate on a banked track.

Embodying the do-it-yourself ethos of modern roller derby, as resurrected in Austin, Texas in 2000, the Derby Dolls are an entirely volunteer-run organization, relying on the support of their fans and community.

Founded in August 2008 by Chelsea Shepherd (Mae Lay) and Courtney Stone (Sally Von Trample). TTRD is composed of strong, friendly, intelligent, enthusiastic people from all walks of life pursuing emotional growth and physical strength by challenging their perceived limits. As a league, we also wish to promote mental and physical empowerment, development of skills, loyalty on and off the track, individuality, and friendship - throughout the entire sport, both locally and nationally. Skater owned and operated since 2001. TXRD has five home teams and play against each other with their own unique ruleset. TXRD's mission is "to be a strong, diverse, self-sustaining local Austin organization that enriches the lives of its members and enhances the spirit of its community through our shared passion for the sport of roller derby, our dedication to the empowerment of female identifying and non-binary athletes and our unyielding commitment to having fun."

Sunshine City Roller Derby, founded in 2021, is a growing banked track league from St. Petersburg, Florida focused on teamwork, competition, and bringing Sunshine energy to the track. Dedicated to creating an inclusive and empowering community, Sunshine City continues building its league, developing athletes, and expanding opportunities for roller derby throughout Tampa Bay. Battle on the Bank XV marks Sunshine City's first appearance at the tournament, and the team is ready to take on the bank!
